Lara and Liam’s eastington park wedding
I had the pleasure of capturing Lara and Liam’s beautiful wedding day at Eastington Park in Gloucestershire. The vibe of the day was classic summer elegance, featuring lots of traditional touches and an abundance of fresh flowers.
Getting Ready
Dressed in coordinating, personalised pyjamas, Lara and her bridesmaids started their bridal preparations at Eastington Park Wedding Venue. The bright and airy suite was the perfect place for wedding photography. While she was a little nervous about her walk down the aisle, the bridesmaids helped to keep Lara relaxed throughout the morning. The girls could watch the wedding guests arriving from the windows as they got ready – which added to the anticipation of the day!
When they arrived at the venue, Liam and his best man dressed in their finery before heading outside to greet the guests before the ceremony.
Aisle Style
Beautiful bride Lara made her entrance in a delicately embroidered bridal gown. Finished with dainty spaghetti straps, the fit-and-flare dress boasted bodice detailing and a sweeping train with a scalloped edge. Lara accessorised with a silver angel pendant and ivory sandals. The blushing bride wore her hair in a half-up, half-down style, finished with ivory and pearl floral hair pins to match the embroidery on her gown.
Liam and his best man made their appearance in matching charcoal, three-piece suits. They both accessorised with blush pink ties and matching pocket squares, completing their look with silver cufflinks.
The three bridesmaids stepped out in blush pink, floor-length gowns. The girls’ dresses featured a v-neckline, flattering waist detailing and pleated chiffon skirts. The girls had their hair styled into a twisted low bun and all wore silver necklaces with a heart-shaped pendant.
Eastington Park Wedding Venue
Eastington Park was the wedding venue of Lara and Liam’s dreams. The exclusive-use, grade II listed manor house boasts elegant reception rooms, ample accommodation and manicured gardens. The couple and their guests were treated like royalty for the day.
In terms of wedding photography, the venue offered hundreds of beautiful backdrops to capture group shots and romantic portraits. From the spiral staircase to the garden swing and walled garden, it was a dream to capture Lara and Liam’s special day.
Decor and Details
The couple styled their day with blush, white and rose gold details, with fresh flowers making a big impact. Lara carried a bouquet full of blush blooms, including peonies, roses and Veronica Spicata, paired with fragrant eucalyptus. Each of the bridesmaids carried the same flowers to match the bridal bouquet. The spiral staircase at Eastington Park was decorated with fresh flowers and foliage, creating a gorgeous focal point. The staircase became a beautiful backdrop for the four-tier, iced cake, which was finished with sugar roses.
In the dining room, the tables were finished with rose gold lanterns filled with fresh flowers. Each place setting was completed with a ceramic heart displaying the guest's name. The hearts doubled up as place names and wedding favours.
Picture Perfect
Lara and Liam were lucky enough to have beautiful blue skies all day. They tied the knot in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, surrounded by friends and family. The couple made their vows in the grounds of Eastington Park, underneath the pergola. Followed by drinks, canapés and live music on the formal lawns. After dinner, they were lucky enough to head out into the gardens at Eastington Park for a romantic golden-hour photography session.
One of the couple’s favourite moments was practising their first dance on the tree-lined driveway of the estate. The sun was setting and it was a stunning moment to capture on camera - one that will be framed, I am sure!
